Valar Morghulis. All men must die on Game of Thrones, but who is most likely to be the next to go? Read on to find out our picks for who gets offed in Season 4, Episode 5, “The First of His Name.”

The official synopsis from HBO for Episode 5 is this: “Cersei and Tywin plot the Crown's next move. Dany discusses future plans. Jon embarks on a new mission.” Of the three of those tidbits, the most likely chance for death looks to us to be Jon’s new mission. Jon’s mission is of course his trip to Craster’s to deal with the Night’s Watch mutineers, and the trailer for the episode definitely confirms that they make it there and a fight ensues. So who’s going to die?

Our money is on the mutineers. Karl and company were set up as the ultimate bad guys in Episode 4, raping and killing women, drinking out of skulls, starving direwolves, and stabbing poor Hodor. There’s no chance they survive this encounter. If they do, there’s simply no justice in the Game of Thrones universe (which there kind of isn’t, but we still think they’re toast).

As for casualties on the Night’s Watch side, we’re hoping this will be Locke’s final appearance. The fact that Bran is at Craster’s and Locke is heading there lead us to believe that Roose Bolton’s man is destined to come face to face with the Stark heir, but we doubt it ends in Bran being captured by him. Our guess is that Locke is killed and Bran escapes, without ever bumping into his brother from another mother, Jon Snow.
