Comedian and former Daily Show correspondent John Oliver has a new show on HBO, so of course he’s going to give a shout out to his new network’s most popular show, Game of Thrones!

You can actually catch the Game of Thrones reference every week on Last Week Tonight with Jon Oliver if you look hard enough — it’s part of the set! The skyline backdrop to Oliver’s desk features a number of world-renowned landmarks. There’s the Empire State Building, the Washington Monument, the Great Pyramid at Giza, the Dome of the Rock, the Burj Khalifa, and of course, Dragonstone, the former Targaryen castle that Stannis Baratheon now calls home. Talk about an obscure reference!

Since his show included Dragonstone rather than more notable GoT landmarks such as the Wall, King’s Landing, or Winterfell, does this mean that Jon Oliver is a Stannis fan? Or, more importantly, since the show is on HBO, is the network secretly revealing to us that Stannis ends up sitting the Iron Throne?! Or maybe that Daenerys will return and reclaim the site of her birth?! Or perhaps most shockingly, maybe they just thought the castle looked cool and would be funny to include in their set?! It’s probably the latter, but it sure is fun to make conjecture!
