On Game of Thrones, Arya (Maisie Williams) recently revealed that she still plans on killing The Hound (Rory McCann) one of these days, much to his chagrin (he’s really grown to care for the little scamp!). So with her skills as a killer growing all the time, will she put them to good use against the Hound?

The answer to the question of whether or not Arya kills the Hound is a bit complicated.

In the books, the Hound is wounded in a fight. It actually happens during the fight at the inn with Polliver and company, but since the Hound made it out of there just fine we’re assuming that, if it's going to go a similar path, the show will create another fight for them.

After a time, the Hound’s wound festers and he realizes he’s not going to survive. He asks Arya for a mercy killing, to put him out of his misery. Arya is hesitant because she doesn’t really want to kill him, but the Hound eggs her on, reminding her of how he killed Mycah and claiming that he did some not-so-nice things to Sansa. His comments have the opposite of their intended effect on Arya, though, as she decides she would rather let him suffer than grant him a merciful death. She leaves him to die, and whether he lives or not is unclear.
