In Game of Thrones Season 4, Episode 4, Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) set off on a new quest to find Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)and bring her to safety, honoring her and Jaime Lannister’s oath to the late Catelyn Stark. Brienne gained a new companion for her journey, Podrick Payne, and they are hot on Sansa’s trail (well, not really). So now the question on everyone’s mind is: will Brienne find her?

Brienne is going to have a long journey. Seriously, it takes up almost an entire book. It’s one of the most criticized bits of the entire ASOIAF series, since she spends a lot of time meeting people who end up being (at least so far) inconsequential. With such a long and boring journey ahead of her, Brienne will at least find Sansa at the end of it, right?

Nope. At least not yet, anyway. Brienne’s quest seems to come to an end when she runs into another lost member of the Stark family: Cat. That’s right, Catelyn Stark becomes an undead monster called Lady Stoneheart. Didn’t see that coming, did you? Cat wants to execute Brienne because she believes she has betrayed her oath in favor of Jaime Lannister. Brienne manages to convince her otherwise, and when we last see Brienne, she is leading Jaime presumably to Cat. Dunn-dunn-dunnnnnn!

Still no Sansa, though.
