The ninth episode of every season of Game of Thrones is normally one of the most exciting. Will the same hold true for Season 4, Episode 9 ("The Watchers on the Wall")? It looks like it — at least if you care about what happens to Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and the Night's Watch.

While we don't know many details about the episode, we have some info, mostly thanks to the official synopsis and promo. Here's what we know — with no book spoilers included!

It's all about the Wall. This is what the official synopsis has to say about the episode. It's not much: "Jon Snow and the Night's Watch face a big challenge." From the promo (and common sense), we know that challenge is the long awaited wildling attack on the Wall.

Will we see Jon and Ygritte interact? The promo opens with a voice over: "Love is the death of duty." We see shots of Jon and Ygritte. Is that a hint that we'll be seeing those ill-fated lovers come into direct contact during the battle?

The battle is going to be epic. The promo makes the fighting look pretty epic, and this episode is directed by Neil Marshall, who brought us the unforgettable "Blackwater" in Season 2, so we have high hopes that this is going to be another amazing installment.
