Can you believe Game of Thrones Season 4 is almost over? The finale, Season 4, Episode 10, "The Children," is just a dayaway, and we're already bracing ourselves for what's supposed to be a completely epic episode.
What can we expect from the season’s last episode? The cast and crew have kept big spoilers on total lockdown, but we can glean some info thanks to the official synopsis and our own internet sleuthing skills.
It's going to be exciting! In the past, the penultimate episode of each season tended to be the most exciting, with the finale mostly wrapping up loose ends and establishing plotlines for the next season. This year is supposed to be different; while Episode 9 featured the epic battle at the Wall, finale director Alex Graves says "The Children" "is really a finale. It's not the episode after Episode 9; it's the big one." The episode also has the longest runtime of any Game of Thrones episode yet, which we take as a good sign.
Follow Up at the Wall. Episode 9 was all about the Wall, but that doesn't mean it won't also appear in the finale. In the promo we see that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) does meet up with Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds), and the official synopsis also hints that "circumstances change after an unexpected arrival from north of the Wall."
Dany has to face reality. Meanwhile, "Dany [Emilia Clarke] must face harsh realities," probably having to do with the complicated political situation she's gotten herself into. What will she do without Jorah (Iain Glen)?
Arya meets Brienne? In the promo we see Arya (Maisie Williams) and The Hound (Rory McCann) run into someone whose armor makes them look like Brienne (Gwendoline Christie). We know Brienne has a big fight scene left; is it with The Hound?

Game of Thrones Season 4 finale airs Sunday, June 15, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
