Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) has traded in the icy realms of Westeros for a land equally as unforgiving: the African savanna.

In Heatstroke, Maisie’s big screen debut, the 17-year-old stars as the spoiled daughter of a research scientist (Stephen Dorff). After running amuk back home, she joins good ole Dad out in the bush. There she immediately takes a disliking to his pretty girlfriend (Svetlana Metkina), whose accent strangely reminds us of Shae’s from Game of Thrones…

On the trip, one thing leads to another and while Dad keeps his head (at least from the preview), it’s a rocky road ahead for Maisie and Svetlana. Honestly, this movie’s taglines — “Run, fight, survive” — might as well be on the Season 4 GoT promo posters.

So does this mean bad news for Arya’s role on the show? Well, define “bad news” because Arya’s had plenty over the course of the last four seasons. We can give you details on whether or not she’ll be sticking around for seasons to come but spoilers ahead.

Watch the full trailer below to see what Maisie’s been up to when not shooting the HBO hit. Then head below to tell us if you’ll watch Heatstroke. It’ll be available on VOD and in select theaters on July 4.

Catch the Game of Thrones Season 4 finale on June 15, 2014, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
