Game of Thrones has already killed off so many characters this season, they can’t possibly eliminate anyone else in the season finale, can they? After all, we’ve already lost Joffrey, Lysa Arryn, Oberyn Martell, Ygritte, Pyp, Grenn... that’s enough, right? In a normal season, that may be enough, but Season 4’s slogan is “All Men Must Die,” so we’re expecting a few more big ones to make their exits next week. Here’s our rundown.

Warning! This article contains spoilers from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, click away now if you don’t want to know!

Shae. In the books, Tyrion is released from his prison cell by Jaime and Varys. However, on his way out of the dungeons, Tyrion passes by an entrance to Tywin’s chambers. Not wanting to pass up a chance for vengeance, Tyrion pops in to see his dear old dad... and insteads finds Shae in Tywin’s bed. Not good. Shae claims she was forced into testifying against Tyrion, but he doesn’t buy it. He strangles her to death, then goes to find his father, which leads us to...

Tywin. Yep, believe it or not, the most powerful man in Westeros is killed, while in the least powerful position imaginable. After his confrontation with Shae, Tyrion finds Tywin in the privy, and looses a crossbow bolt into his gut. Two murders in five minutes, that should change Tyrion’s character a bit moving forward.

The Hound? In the books, the Hound eventually succumbs to his festering wound and presumably dies. However, he doesn’t die on the page, and theories abound that he lives on. However, on the show, it looks like Brienne runs into the Hound. If these two fight, it could mean the end for the weakened Hound, and given the way this show handles death, we don’t think there will be anything ambiguous about it.
