Did you see that one coming? Game of Thrones Season 4's slogan was "All Men Must Die," and on tonight's finale (Episode 10, "The Children"), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) proved that's true of even the great Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance).

Tyrion began this episode waiting to die. His position looked pretty helpless, until his always loving brother, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), showed up to help him escape on the eve of his execution.

Tyrion took a detour on his way out of the castle, and stopped by daddy dearest's chambers, where he found none other than Shae (Sibel Kekilli) in Tywin's bed. Yeah.

Driven into a murderous rage, Tyrion strangled his former lover to death, then found his father on the toilet and shot him with a crossbow before getting the hell out of King's Landing by boarding a ship to elsewhere. thanks to some help from Varys.

And thus ends the reign of Tywin Lannister. God. Damn.

What did you think of Tyrion killing his father and former lover? Awesome, or too far? What do you think will happen to him next? Sound off in the comments below.
