We didn’t see Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) at all in the final two episodes of Game of Thrones Season 4, so we’re betting we’ll catch up with her early in Season 5. Sansa seems like a new woman now that she’s finally figured out how to play the “game” so what kinds of machinations can we expect from her in Season 5?

Here’s the thing: the show version of Sansa has just about caught up with her book material.
In the books, the only thing left for Sansa is to become engaged to Harry Hardyng, who’s the heir to the Vale after Robin Arryn, and then reveal herself to the Lords of the Vale as Sansa Stark. However, in the show, Sansa has already revealed herself to the Lords of the Vale, and we’ve heard talk of an engagement to Robin, so Harry may find himself cut from the show. So, what’s left for Sansa to do?
Frankly, we don’t know. The show is either going to invent storyline for her, which they already may be doing with this tour of the Vale she’s going on with Robin and Littlefinger, or the show will draw material from the still unreleased Winds of Winter.
According to an interview with George R. R. Martin and his right-hand man Elio Garcia, the new book features a Sansa chapter that’s “sure to be controversial.” People have theorized this could be anything from Sansa murdering Robin to Littlefinger raping Sansa, but whatever it is, there’s a chance it could be revealed in Season 5. Based on show spoilers, what we do know is Sansa beings to use her sexuality to manipulate people and undergo a "big change."
