No one is having a worse time on Game of Thrones than Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), AKA Reek. Theon spent all of Season 3 being tortured mercilessly, and Season 4 revealed a scared, broken creature completely devoted to Ramsay Bolton who bears no resemblance to the cocky Theon we all know and hate. So will Theon finally be put out of his misery in Season 5?

If there’s one thing A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin loves to do, it’s kill off our favorite characters when we least expect it. But Theon isn't a traditional favorite, and we all expect him to die eventually, which means he’s not going anywhere in Season 5.

In the books, Theon goes to Winterfell with Ramsay Bolton to attend the wedding of Ramsay and a girl posing as Arya Stark, to fool the other Northern Lords into supporting the Boltons as their liege lords. However, trouble occurs at the wedding when some of the Freys present start turning up dead. Theon comes under suspicion for the murders, but it’s quickly deduced that he’s too weak to carry them out. The real perpetrators are Mance Rayder and some Wildling women, who have been sent my Melisandre to rescue “Arya.” They enlist  the help of Theon, who manages to have a heroic moment and escape Winterfell with “Arya.” However, he runs right into the clutches of Stannis, who’s about to invade Winterfell, and Stannis declares he wants Theon executed for his crimes. We’re guessing this is where we’ll leave off, with the prospect of Theon finally losing his head in season 6.
