There haven’t been a lot of official casting announcements about Game of Thrones Season 5 yet, but there have been plenty of rumors about which new characters will populate the world of Westeros when we tune in next year. Still, we hadn't heard anything about one fairly major book character, Quentyn Martell, leading some fans to speculate that Quentyn would be the first book POV character to be cut from the show. Now, though, a leaked audition tape makes it look like the controversial character will show up next year.

If this is a real deal audition tape, and not someone just doing this for fun, it means Quentyn probably will be on the show after all. We can't say we're particularly surprised; while a lot of A Song of Ice and Fire readers aren't fans of the character, the show has yet to eliminate a book point-of-view character entirely.

So, who is Quentyn? We don't want to give away too much — you can find out more about his book story here — but we will say he's the oldest son of Prince Doran Martell, Oberyn's older brother and the head of House Martell. We got a taste of the Martells this season, and in Season 5 we'll actually see Dorne, so we expect the southernmost of the Seven Kingdoms to start playing a much larger role in the story.

We'll have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure whether or not Quentyn makes it into the show, but for now, let us know if you want to see him or not in the comments below!
