Stevie Nicks’s sultry song stylings have been mimicked plenty of times on The Voice. Well, now the Fleetwood Mac singer will be lending a little inspiration to next season’s crop of crooners in a more hands on manner! She recently signed on to be an adviser for coach Adam Levine when the show returns in the fall for Season 7, according to E! Online.
Honestly, we can’t say we’re surprised this “Gold Dust Woman” is joining forces with Team Adam. The Maroon 5 frontman has raved about how amazing Stevie is numerous times, comparing past artists on his team such as Kat Perkins to the husky-voiced rocker. Stevie is the first guest mentor to be announced, with advisers for fellow veteran coach Blake Shelton and newbies Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani as yet unknown.
Music appreciation isn’t the only bond Adam and Stevie have in common. Both musicians have had guest roles in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story anthology, with Adam making his acting debut in American Horror Story: Asylum and Stevie appearing as herself in American Horror Story: Coven. Is it weird of us to hope these two will team up for a Halloween-themed duet, given their connection to the spooky series?
