In the casting rumors for Game of Thrones Season 5, we haven’t heard anything about additional members of the Greyjoy family showing up. This is interesting because book four of A Song of Ice and Fire, A Feast for Crows, which Season 5 will be drawing heavily from, features loads of new Ironborn. So will we be seeing any of them?

In A Song of Ice and Fire, the chapters are structured from different characters’ points of view. For instance, there could be a “Bran” chapter, followed by a “Jaime” chapter. The show has yet to omit any POV characters, but the next two books  in the series introduce a lot of them, so the odds are several will be cut.

In A Feast for Crows, three members of the Greyjoy family have POV chapters, while a fourth Greyjoy is also introduced. Asha (Yara in the show), Theon’s sister, becomes a POV character along with two of her uncles: Aeron “Damphair” Greyjoy, a priest of the Drowned God, and Victarion Greyjoy, a badass viking. A third uncle who does not have any chapters of his own is Euron Greyjoy, a villainous pirate who sits the Seastone Chair after Balon Greyjoy’s death.

Since we haven’t heard anything about Greyjoys showing up next season, it’s possible they’ve all been cut. If that’s the case though, why would the show include Yara’s invented rescue attempt at the Dreadfort in Season 4, when she comes to the conclusion that Theon is “dead”? They must be leading her to something.

Our guess is that Aeron and Victarion are both cut, but Euron will show up, and Yara will return home to find her father dead and Euron King of the Iron Islands. Euron also seems uncuttable to us because he has a plan to steal Dany’s dragons, which would add a nice piece of drama to the show. There is also a theory floating around among some fans that Euron is actually Daario, which would explain why he wouldn’t need to be cast.

We’ll have to wait until Season 5 to find out if anymore Greyjoys make their debut, but our hunch says at least Euron will pop up as a new villain for us to hate.
