On Game of Thrones, we’re used to seeing Sophie Turner appear scared as Sansa Stark, but that’s nothing compared to the level of fear she’s displaying in her upcoming horror movie, Another Me.
The trailer is out for the new thriller, and it’s pretty intense. In it, Sophie plays your average girl who likes taking photos... until one day she notices that one of her photos features a duplicate of herself in the background. The rest of the trailer features her being stalked by what seems to be a malevolent version of herself, whom the trailer informs us wants her life.
The concept is pretty freaky, and it looks like Sophie does an excellent job in the lead. The film is out in US theaters on August 22, so until then you’ll have to guess what the deal is with Sophie’s creepy twin. In addition to Sophie, the film also stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spiderman), and Gregg Sulkin (Wizards of Waverly Place). The film is directed by Spanish director Isabel Coixet (The Secret Life of Words) and is based on Cathy MacPhail’s novel of the same name.
