With Joffrey out of the way on Game of Thrones, it seems like Ramsay Snow, err, Bolton, is the baddest bad guy left. So will the good guys continue their recent renaissance in Season 5 and take out Ramsay?

In the books, Ramsay is the focus of a big, religious ceremony in the near future, but it’s a wedding, not a funeral. Ramsay marries an Arya Stark lookalike, part of his father Roose’s plan to get the rest of the Northern Lords on board with Bolton leadership. The wedding takes place at Winterfell, but things don’t go quite as smoothly as the Boltons would like.
There are a number of Freys at the wedding, which causes lots of tension given the last northern wedding the Freys attended (hint: it was red). Eventually, Freys start dropping like flies, and everyone begins pointing fingers at one another. Initially, Theon is suspected, but he’s ruled to be too weak. The actual killer ends up being Mance Rayder, who was sent to Winterfell to rescue “Arya” by Melisandre as a favor to Jon Snow.
The last we hear from Ramsay is in a mysterious letter sent to Jon at the Wall and addressed to “Bastard.” The letter claims several half-truths, and many fans theorize that Mance actually wrote the letter rather than Ramsay. Ramsay appears to still be alive at the end of the most recent book, but with a battle with Stannis’s army on the horizon, that could change quickly.
