In Game of Thrones Season 4, we witnessed Jorah Mormont's (Iain Glen) unceremonious exile from the city of Meereen by Dany. With Jorah seemingly out on his own and far away from any of the show’s cast, is it possible that Jorah, portrayed by main cast member Iain Glen, will not appear in Season 5?

Not according to the Twitter account of Iain Glen Fans (and they would know, right?). The fan club tweets a confirmation of the actor’s role next season, saying, “Jorah Mormont is in series 5 of Game of Thrones. I met Iain Glen yesterday & he told he was to start filming soon#iainglen #gameofthrones.” So there you have it: at least according to a secondhand source, Jorah will be back for Season 5.

But in what capacity?

In the books, Jorah ends up running across a familiar face while hanging out in a whore house in the free city of Volantis: Tyrion Lannister. Jorah kidnaps Tyrion so he can take him back to Dany, but his plan is cut short when the two of them are kidnapped by slavers. We seriously doubt the show would miss out on the opportunity to debut the next great odd couple of the show, so we’re guessing (and certainly hoping) Iain’s going to be filming some scenes with Peter Dinklage for Season 5.
