New Game of Thrones character the High Sparrow will be portrayed by actor Jonathan Pryce, but what do we know about this new face? Here are five facts about Jonathan.

1. He’s won two Tony Awards. Jonathan took home Broadway’s highest honor twice, once for Best Actor in a Play for 1977’s Comedians, and again for Best Actor in a Musical for 1991’s Miss Saigon.

2. He was a Bond Villain. Jonathan starred opposite Pierce Brosnan in 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies as media titan Elliot Carver. In case you’re wondering, no, he never strokes a white cat at any point in the movie.

3. His real last name is... Price. Jonathan changed the spelling of his last name from “Price” to “Pryce” in order to join the British actor’s union, Equity, since they only allowed one actor per name in their ranks.

4. He’s a commander IRL. While we don’t know what kind of rank the High Sparrow will hold on GoT, Jonathan holds the title of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, which he was awarded in 2009.

5. He has a crazy romantic history. Pryce and his longtime partner, actress Kate Fahy, both left their respective spouses for each other just two weeks after meeting in 1974. The pair have been together for 40 years and have three children together, but they’ve never married.
