Sean Bean, who portrayed the late Ned Stark on Game of Thrones, recently did an AMA on Reddit to promote his new TNT drama series, Legends, but predictably a number of the questions centered around his role on GoT. Sean is a good sport, and offered up a lot of interesting tidbits about the show — including a few about one Mr. Jon Snow.

Sean fielded a question asking if he could give any hints as to Jon Snow’s trued parentage. He responded, “I don't know?! I mean, how am I supposed to know? Does anybody know? I don't think he's mine.” Sean was then asked why he didn’t teach Jon Snow anything (you know, because Jon Snow knows nothing), and Sean replied, “HAHAHAHAH! Because he’s not mine! Little bastard!”

So Sean seems to be pretty invested in the theory that Jon Snow is not Ned Stark’s bastard... but he’s still a bastard.

Finally, someone asked if Sean would rather apologize to Frodo (Sean played Boromir in The Lord of the Rings and tried to steal the ring from Frodo) or have a conversation with Jon Snow about his parents. Sean hilariously answered, “I did apologize to Frodo, didn't I? Or I told somebody to tell him I was sorry. And f—k Jon Snow.

So there you have it, Ned Stark: not a fan of Jon Snow.
