Game of Thrones Season 5  filming is well underway, with a number of scenes reportedly already being shot across Northern Ireland. Now, it seems some of the production has moved to new location Spain as well, where an important scene is said to take place.

The scene in question will be filmed at Osuna’s famous bull ring, Plaza de Toro, and according to Winter Is Coming, a test scene has already been filmed with some fifty extras. The actual scene will reportedly not be filmed until October, and right now the producers are simply preparing the location. What epic scene could possibly require so much work?

The smart money is on the scene from A Dance with Dragons that takes place in Daznak’s Pit.

In the books, Daenerys marries Hizdahr zo Loraq, and as part of an effort to keep the peace, she agrees to reopen the slave fighting pits in Meereen. During the first tournament, where Hizdahr unsuccessfully attempts to poison Dany, Drogon makes his triumphant return to Meereen. Having been drawn by the commotion, he lands in the pit and starts wreaking havoc. Soldiers attempt to slay him, and seeing a need to quell the violence, Dany approaches Drogon, climbs on his back and flies away.

It’s going to be one of the most insane scenes the show’s ever done, and if that is what they're working on now, we’re psyched to hear they’re putting so much thought into it!
