The 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards are still a week away, but Game of Thrones Season 4 is already bringing in the gold. To basically no one's surprise, the epic fantasy took home four statues when the Creative Arts Emmys were announced on Saturday, August 16.

Although the Academy has so far shied away from giving Game of Thrones many of the big prizes — Peter Dinklage’s (as Tyrion) Best Supporting Actor win for the first season is the only acting award for the show, and it has yet to win Best Drama — it's always been generous in the technical categories, and it looks like 2014 is no exception.

On Saturday, Game of Thrones took home Outstanding Art Direction for a Contemporary or Fantasy Series, Outstanding Costumes for a Series, Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Miniseries, Movie, or Special, and Outstanding Special and Visual Effects.

The Game of Thrones viewer's guide also took home an award for User Experience and Visual Design under the special category of Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media.

The show had 19 nominations overall, so we're hoping to see a lot more love thrown its way during the main event. Go Westeros!
