Game of Thrones is often accused of over-using nudity, but there's one upcoming scene that most fans of the A Song of Ice and Fire books would agree really does require one main character to strip all the way down — but according to reports, production on the key moment has run into a major snag.
TMZ reports that the scene requires none other than Cersei (Lena Headey) to walk from a church naked. The problem? The scene is supposed to film outside a church in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the real-life church has a lot of power, and, surprise, surprise, isn't big on public nudity. Apparently the film commission in the area won't give the production permission to shoot the scene. However, the show's Powers That Be also refuse to cut the scene because it's too important.
According to TMZ, a solution hasn't been found yet. Somehow, we think the creative minds behind Game of Thrones will figure it out, though. If they can make dragons come to life on screen, surely they can give us Cersei naked.
