For a show about a continent-wide war, Game of Thrones has contained surprisingly few battle scenes so far. We've seen people preparing for battle, cleaning up after battle, and talking about battle, but we haven't seen much actual fighting. Will that change by the end of Season 2?

You betcha! Richard Madden (Robb Stark) recently told E!, "anyone that missed out on the battle last year is not going to be disappointed with the battle this year. It's going to be awesome."

The battle? Yeah, the battle. We can only assume he means the Battle of Blackwater Bay, which will play out in Season 2, Episode 9: "Blackwater." (See what they did there with the title? Very clever.)

The press release about the episode says simply, "Tyrion and the Lannisters fight for their lives as Stannis’ fleet assaults King’s Landing," and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) has promised "a serious battle."

The episode was penned by G.R.R. Martin, the mastermind behind the Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire universe, and it took a month to film. So, we're expecting a lot of epicness.
