We're still recovering from Game of Thrones' epic Season 2, but we won't say no to a little Season 3 casting news. There's a huge list of new characters who are set to join the cast next season, and now it looks like we can put a face to another fan-favorite from the books.

As Winter Is Coming unearthed, according to the website of UK Talent Agency Shepherd Management, which represents GoT regular John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Clive Russell has been cast as Ser Brynden Tully, AKA The Blackfish, Catelyn's battle-hardened but kind uncle.

Brynden first appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire series all the way back in the first book, and some fans were worried his character would be cut from the show entirely. They should be thrilled to know The Blackfish is making it to the screen after all.

Clive Russell isn't a big name in the US, but you may know him from the recent Sherlock Holmes films, where he plays Captain Tanner.
