Game of Thrones is amidst its third season, and Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with several of its stars including 15-year-old Maisie Williams, who plays tomboyish Arya Stark at The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Presents an Evening With Game of Thrones on March 19.

After admitting that she’s not a fan of Arya’s rags (can this girl get a costume change?), Maisie teased her character’s Season 3 arc, which will revolve around Arya’s quest to get back home.

“All the time she's getting stronger, and a stronger personality as well,” Maisie observes. “And she can hold her own against some pretty dangerous people, and I think it’s exciting.”

Read on for more Season 3 teasers from the young British actress.

Wetpaint Entertainment: Is it nice to dress up all girly for a change?

Maisie Williams: Well, it's nice to show people what I really look like. It's just nice to show people Maisie and not be in rags all the time.

It must get a little frustrating.

Yeah, I haven't had a new costume since forever. Maybe they can write that one in somewhere.

Where do we find Arya when we come back?

We pick her up shortly after. She just had her interaction with Jaqen H’Ghar. She's got the coin, and she's still with Hot Pie and Gendry, cruising, trying to get home. I think maybe she thinks she has a quiet confidence about getting home now. And I think maybe she thinks it's the home stretch, and she's nearly there. Yeah, we'll have to wait and see what really happens.

What are the obstacles that she'll be facing?

She meets a lot of new people, and they can do things that she's never even been able to even contemplate before. And I think she realizes there's a whole other world to Westeros, and she doesn't know so much about this place as she thought she did. And I'm excited to see how it all looks on camera too.

It's almost like she's being trained into a warrior, involuntarily. Do you think she's becoming stronger?

Yeah. I don't think you necessarily see Arya training or things like that, but all the time she's getting stronger, and a stronger personality as well. And she can hold her own against some pretty dangerous people, and I think it's exciting. I've really enjoyed playing that.

What about the coin?

The coin, well, that might have its own little use this year, but, yeah, whenever they give it to me, they always whip it away from me because they're scared I'm going to lose it. They've got a couple of copies of it, but they don't like to give it to you for too long in case I lose it.

So we’ll find out.

Yeah, we’ll find out what happens.

Is it something that pleases her when she finds what the meaning of it is?

I don't know if it's necessarily a good thing. You just have to wait and see. I'm excited now.

Game of Thrones Season 3 airs Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.
