Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage’s small stature may have him stick out in a world of cookie-cutter Hollywood leading men, but if you ask his legions of fans, he’s got larger-than-life sex appeal.
The one person who doesn’t believe it is Peter himself.
“They’ll say, 'Oh, he's sexy,' but women still go for guys who are 6'2," Peter tells People. "It's nice that people are thinking outside the box, but I don't believe any of it for a minute."
Despite his denial over people’s feelings about him as a sex symbol, he does admit to liking the attention — to a degree.
"Game of Thrones fans are the nicest people ever, but a thousand nice people coming at me gives me claustrophobia,” he says.
It was this same claustrophobia, and a rush to make a speech about the fallout of a recent dwarf tossing incident, that caused him to accidentally snub one of Hollywood’s biggest couples at last year’s Golden Globes as well.
"I apparently brushed off Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on my way to the stage," he says.
"When you're in that moment and you're about to accept an award and you have no idea what you're going to say, you don't notice that Brad and Angelina are reaching out to say hello," he says. "All I saw was a sea of people I needed to get through. Friends don't care about issues like dwarf tossing. They only care about 'Dude, you dissed Brangelina.'"
