Game of Thrones star Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) has landed a brand-new TV gig that's just as full of action and political intrigue... but with a few less dragons. Michelle will playing Margot on 24: Live Another Day, a FOX miniseries picking up where 24 left off in 2010.
The role of Margot, a British national and widow of a terrorist, originally went to Australian actress Judy Davis, who had to drop out for personal reasons.
Live Another Day still follows the adventures of Jack Bauer, who will continue to be played by Kiefer Sutherland. Other returning castmembers include Kim Raver, William Devane, and Mary Lynn Rajskub. Joining Michelle as a cast newcomer is Tate Donovan, who played Jimmy Cooper on The O.C., as White House Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (and Jack's ex-girlfriend's new husband, OMG). Dexter alum Yvonne Strahovski has also joined the cast as Kate Morgan, a CIA field agent who's supposed to be hunting down Jack, now a fugitive.
