Emilia Clarke Had To Do WHAT in Her Game Of Thrones Audition?! (VIDEO)

The Mother of Dragons has to be prepared to face any challenge — even a dance-off!

Emilia Clarke recently went on the Tonight Show, where she dished on the audition that landed her the role of Daenerys Targaryen. It turns out there was more to proving her abilities than just some good line reads — she also ended up showing off her mad dance skills, and we're not talking the kind of moves that would work in Westeros.

See, at the end of the audition Emilia asked if there was anything else the showrunners wanted to see from her, and David Benioff jokingly suggested she do a dance — so she did!

"I don't know how to do it, but I did the Funky Chicken," she dished, adding, "and I kind of morphed into the Robot."

Well, it might not be the most orthodox move, but clearly it worked out in the end.

Catch Emilia in action during Game of Thrones Season 4, which premieres on April 6, 2014 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
