This Letter From George H.W. Bush Is the Palate Cleanser We All Need
The 2016 election will likely go down in history as the most divisive presidential campaign in American history — including the one that gave birth to dirty politics, the election of 1800.
To really drive home how far American politics seems to have fallen, check out this note George H.W. Bush left for Bill Clinton when he assumed office in 1993.

Despite a hard-fought and contentious election in 1992, the outgoing president's message to his successor is so warm and moving, you'd hardly know they were from opposing parties!
Now compare that to some of last night's highlights:
First, Donald Trump will not confirm whether he will accept the outcome of this election.
Then there was this little tidbit…
As Hillary gets in a little dig about Donald not paying taxes, he utters this instantly memeable interjection.
And we won't soon forget this, either...
November 9th can't get here soon enough!
