Netflix Confirms ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival and the Cast Is Just as Excited as You
In news that would’ve made its way around Star’s Hollow before Babette could even say “Honey,” the Gilmore Girls revival is officially happening.
With a nod to one of the show’s greatest, weirdest quotes, Netflix confirmed on January 29 the tentatively-titled Gilmore Girls: Seasons is a go.
Oy, with the poodles already, indeed.
The upcoming digital specials begin filming shockingly soon, on Tuesday, February 2 in Los Angeles, TVLine explains.
Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel — or as we loving know them, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore — will be on set, along with Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena.

It hasn’t been announced whether your other favorite characters from Stars Hollow and beyond will pop up. Former stars Melissa McCarthy, Liza Weil, and Jared Padalecki are all currently working on their own gargantuan projects like being a movie star and TV domination.
But Lauren and Keiko seem pumped enough for everyone.
“It's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work,” Lorelai’s alter ego, 48, tweeted, while holding a puffy “Property of Gilmore Girls” coat.
Keiko, 42, says she “Can't wait to share the journey with you,” and neither can we — as long as Luke and Lorelai are still together forever, of course...
