Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie O in Killing Kennedy — First Look! (PHOTO)
Many women have played John F. Kennedy’s First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, before Once Upon a Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin, and many actresses will play her after, but none will likely be as stunning.
Since the announcement that Ginny will be playing the Jackie O to Rob Lowe’s JFK in National Geographic biopic Killing Kennedy, we’ve been trying to imagine how the erstwhile Snow White will look in her new role. Now we have a first look at her with Jackie’s signature hairdo, looking absolutely stunning. Clearly, she was born to play JFK’s wife — the similarities are uncanny.
Taking a look back at some of the other women who have played Jacqueline — including Katie Holmes, Ginny’s Big Love co-star Jeanne Tripplehorn, Jaclyn Smith, and more — none of them captured Jackie’s look quite the way that Ginnifer does in this photo. Even her facial expression fits the role, and we can’t wait to see her light up the screen as the former First Lady.
Rob Lowe tweeted about JFK's infamous and horrifying death scene the other day, writing, “Just saw @ginnygoodwin as Jackie Kennedy in the sad and awful blood-stained dress. Extremely emotional.” We’re getting our tissues ready before this premieres, that’s for sure.
