NeNe Leakes Gives Proof Cynthia Bailey Waited Six Months to Get Mad at Her!
Cynthia Bailey used Watch What Happens Live last night as her platform to talk about the end of her friendship with NeNe Leakes, going so far as to call her former bestie her “worst enemy.” But while Cynthia was live on Bravo, NeNe was furiously typing up a response on Instagram, and she did not hold back. She even accused Cynthia of trudging up old drama a whopping six months after they’d squashed it — and supplied the photo/text evidence!
Before she deleted the lengthy diatribe, NeNe posted nearly 400 words about her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star. The first point of issue? That Cynthia is supposedly using her to stay on TV.
“It's amazing what people r willing 2 do 4 the love of money, relevancy & 2 stay on tv,” NeNe wrote, adding, “With Cynthia's sell out personality & blow with the wind persona I knew it was only a matter of time! It's always the ones that r the closest to u that will turn on u!”
From there, she took the time to outline the exact timeline of the “bitch” incident with Peter Thomas — the source of the fallout — and when Cynthia started taking issue with it. According to NeNe, the initial Saving Our Daughters fight with Peter occurred way back in October 2013, she apologized and they’d moved far past it. In fact, they’d since spent Thanksgiving together at NeNe’s, traveled to Vegas for New Year’s, worked together on events, did New York Fashion Week together, and even celebrated NeNe’s birthday in NYC. She even included photos from all of these events with dates to prove it (at left).
“When the episode aired 4 all 2 see & twitter-verse had their say i guess she changed her mind & decided she needed 2 be mad nearly 6 months later!” NeNe detailed.”Y didnt u pull me aside & talk 2 me abt how u were feeling instead of dicing our friendship up n front of a bunch of people who dont care! Surely I’m worthy of that considering i have carried u on my back!” Yikes!
But the greatest blow comes when NeNe accused Cynthia of using the end of their friendship as her Season 7 storyline.
“Who cares abt a stupid friendship when u need 2 secure another season on the show!” the Dancing With the Stars contestant wrote. “If u or anyone else thinks the demise of our friendship is your story line 4 season 7, think again flip flopper.”
What’s more, she finished it all off with a screenshot of a text Cynthia sent her in October after the Gregg and Peter Mexico fight where Cynthia said she was going to let the “bitch” thing go for the rest of their scenes together.
