Glee Coming to an End: It’s “Bittersweet,” Says Glee Star
With Glee creator Ryan Murphy announcing last month that Season 6 will probably be the end of the road for the show, Glee's cast generally has been looking forward to their future without the show. But one star seems to be having a little extra trouble saying goodbye.
Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) tells Hollywood Life she is grateful that Tina got to stay at McKinley for an extra school year after most of the original New Directions characters graduated. "I was super excited [at the beginning of Season 3] when I heard Tina was a junior, since I thought she was going to be a senior with all the others," Jenna admits.
Now, she's saddened about the end of the show, but she plans to keep in close contact with everyone. "We have had an amazing journey, so it is a bit bittersweet," she says. "But I am sure that we will all stay in touch. We are still a family, but it will be very sad. But I am excited to see where we all end up."
Jenna says she wouldn't mind going back to TV after Glee. "This was my first real TV show, so I am not opposed for another one," she says. "I have never done movies, so I would like to try that afterwards, and I will definitely go back to theatre with the right show."
We can't imagine not seeing this cast on our TVs anymore when Glee leaves, so the prospect of Jenna possibly doing more TV is music to our ears!
