Glee Season 3 Spoilers: There’s a Surprise Shotgun Wedding in Episode 10:
Heed our warning now: if you have a heart condition, this spoiler article is not for you. We're lookin' at you, Nana and Pop-Pop. Okay, then. Obviously, big, splashy surprises are in store for an episode formerly known as "The Proposal," now titled "Yes/No." We won't keep you waiting, but ‘shippers should get particularly excited.
For one thing, in addition to the Wemma proposal, which we all but know goes down in the pool with the New Ds participating in synchronized swim fun, there will be a surprise shotgun wedding that resolves an old love triangle. Our bet? Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch)/Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones)/Cooter Menkins (Eric Bruskotter), with Cooter putting a ring on some other broad. Gets him out of the picture and Sue doesn't squash Bieste.
While Wemma make it official, it's not all smooth sailing. Will actually has a moment in which he questions whether she can handle marriage and motherhood in the throes of OCD.
Finn (Cory Monteith) gets really terrible news from his mom in what might be his most dramatic scene yet this season, followed by a really great moment for him and Rachel (Lea Michele). She serenades him with Rihanna's "Without You" which garners an explosive response from Santana (Naya Rivera).
Artie’s (Kevin McHale) love-interest is revealed: Sugar Motta (Vanessa Lengies)! We were right! But of course, this destroys Becky (Lauren Potter), who's developing quite the crush on Wheels. Luckily, Sue is there for her, and the mentor/mentee have a sweet moment together, as well.
Artie, Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.), and Will tackle of mash-up of "Moves Like Jagger/Jumpin' Jack Flash," and as long as Mr. Schue is belting out "moo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooves like Jagger," we're not complaining.
NeNe Leakes got decent reviews as Roz Washington, Sam’s (Chord Overstreet) synchronized swim coach who apparently makes fun of his nipples a lot, and, yes, as we all predicted, he packs in lots of gratuitous shirtlessness throughout the episode.
And the last five minutes will throw a MASSIVE ‘shipper grenade. Like, fans are gonna be floored. (Any guesses?)
Have we succeeded in titillating you, yet? Stay tuned next week for Glee's return with "Yes/No."
