Alex Newell

Alex Newell plays a character on Glee that is pretty, well, Unique. Though Wade Adams was born male, he only truly feels like himself when he is wearing female clothes and living as his alter-ego, Unique. In fact, in Glee Season 4, Episode 16: “Feud,” Unique told Ryder (Blake Jenner) that she wanted him to refer to her as a girl.

The Glee family got a little bigger over the holidays, as show creator Ryan Murphy and his partner David Miller celebrated the birth of their first child, Logan Phinneas Miller Murphy.
