Uh.... so.... yeah. You know how Blaine’s (Darren Criss) decision to propose to his ex-boyfriend Kurt (Chris Colfer) has been almost all anyone could talk about leading up to Thursday’s Glee Season 4 finale?

Well, the finale’s over. And one
Glee couple is married. Another one broke up. But basically nothing happened in terms of a Klaine storyline. Blaine bought a ring — but he most certainly did not propose!

As Will and Emma rushed to exchange vows in the choir room right after Regionals, Blaine and Kurt stood side by side to watch. As the camera slowly panned backwards, Blaine could clearly be seen fidgeting with a tiny black engagement ring box in his hands. The box was behind his back, and Kurt seemed blissfully ignorant that anything out of the ordinary was going on.

So yes, Blaine probably is going to propose. But it’s not going to happen until
Glee comes back for Season 5 next fall.

Are you glad about the way things all panned out, or were you hoping to see more developments on the Kurt and Blaine relationship front during the finale? To be honest, it feels like this episode served as
Brittany’s (Heather Morris) swan song. She’s likely not coming back next year — or if she is, it will only be for a short number of episodes. And if this is the last we’ll see of Brit, we’re glad we got to see so much of her this episode.

But couldn’t we have gotten a bit more Klaine screentime? Just a tiny little bit?
