Glee’s Season 4 finale was full of cliffhangers: Did Rachel get the part? Will Blaine propose... and will Kurt say yes? Is Ryder (Blake Jenner) gone for good? What about Brittany? But at least one Glee couple got to tie a big bow on their “happily ever after” — Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays)!

The McKinley High School faculty sweethearts finally locked down their love in a surprise wedding in the school choir room with all their students (but surprisingly no family members) present.

Keeping it short and sweet, Will and Emma reminisced on the moments where they first fell in love — which, coincidentally, were the moments
we fell in love with their ‘ship. Who can forget Will scraping the gum off Emma’s shoe in the pilot, or the way they embraced after the glee club’s first big win?

Despite its simple nature, the Wemma  wedding that FINALLY ended with
“I Do” could not have been more perfect. We’re not ashamed to admit we shed a few tears. What can we say — we always cry at weddings. At least this time we were crying tears of joy rather than gnashing our teeth and sobbing, “WHY, EMMA? WHY?!”

And as we choked out one last final sob, we couldn’t help but notice Blaine holding a tiny black velvet box, the sure sign of a dude that’s about to get down on one knee. We have to say, proposing at someone else’s wedding is a little tacky. Blaine — it’s not your day!

What did you think of the Wemma wedding: Was it well worth the wait or too overdue to matter to you anymore?
