Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 22: “All or Nothing,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?
Best Performance of the Night: “To Love You More” by Rachel
The New Directions boys did impress us with “Hall of Fame.” But the performance from this week that just might belong in the Glee hall of fame is Rachel’s (Lea Michele) powerhouse audition song. Her vocals on the Celine Dion tune just get better and better, with the ending completely blowing us away. If Rachel doesn’t get the role, we’re giving those judges a piece of our mind.
Worst Performance of the Night: “I Love It” by New Directions’ girls
“Love” is certainly not a word we would use to describe our feelings of this somewhat soulless performance. Perhaps there’s only so much New Directions could have done with this dance-y song, but did the show really need to use so much autotune, rendering the voices virtually indistinguishable? Translation: It’s a little hard to “care” about this performance.
