Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s new HBO pilot about sex and relationships just got a whole lot sexier! TV Line reports that ‘90s heartthrob Scott Speedman — who played Keri Russell’s dreamy college crush on Felicity — has signed on for a leading role.

The new HBO pilot, Open, revolves around the provocative sex lives of five characters: including a thirty-something married couple, the husband’s male co-worker and a female yoga professional in her 40s. Scott’s character, Jonathan, is described as an attractive sports marketing executive.

Scott, who captured the hearts of girls across America with his role as the dreamy Ben Covington in the 1998-2002 WB teen drama, most recently appeared on the now-cancelled ABC submarine dramaLast Resort.

Should Open get picked up by HBO, it will be the third TV show that Ryan will be running at once. He’s the showrunner for both Glee and FX’s American Horror Story. Unfortunately, his NBC comedy, The New Normal, has been cancelled after its first season.

That’s not to say Ryan won’t be keeping busy. He’s also currently filming an HBO movie called The Normal Heart, which chronicles the rise of the HIV/AIDS crisis in early 1980s New York City. Did we mention it stars Glee’s Jonathan Groff (Jesse St. James) and Friday Night Lights hunk Taylor Kitsch?

So many hot guys, so little time. There are definitely worse problems one could have!
