When we’re on a plane, we’re usually hoping to binge-read People magazines and fill up on tiny bags of pretzels. But when Glee star Cory Monteith (Finn) was on a plane, he was still looking to give back to his fans and spread joy to people’s lives.
E! Online has a self-recorded video message has surfaced of Cory addressing some lucky fans while on an airplane, according to. The video appears to be the last video Cory filmed before his untimely death on July 13.
On an Air Canada flight from Japan to Vancouver, Cory was approached by a flight attendant, who asked him to record a video for her boyfriend’s daughter, Mallory, an avid Glee fanatic. And Cory was more than happy to oblige.
“I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school,” Cory says.
This is just a reminder of what a down-to-earth and caring person Cory really was. We can imagine some celebs not wanting to be bothered on a plane, so the fact that Cory recorded a personalized message is a real tribute to his character.
This is yet another reason why the world continues to grieve his loss, and why we’ll never forget the impact that he made, both on-camera and off.
