The cast of Glee is back to work filming Season 5, and we’ve just uncovered the first outdoor filming location of the season. It’s already been reported that both the Season 5 premiere and Season 5, Episode 2 will be tributes to The Beatles — and that means this location will likely be the set of one of the cast’s Beatles musical numbers!

A Glee fan named Alice took a trip to Paramount Studios in L.A., and in addition to stopping by some of the usual Glee sets, she also got to see a colorful carnival structure being created for season premiere filming.

This is the set glee are filming on tonight! It is a carnival scene! (Tour guide said I'm allowed to post)” Alice tweeted on August 6. She later updated, “So yeah, glee are filming a carnival scene  as we speak :)

Alice didn’t specify if the New Directions or the NYC kids were the ones filming the scene, but if we had to place our bets, we’d go with the New Ds. Also unclear is which Beatles song will be performed at the carnival.

Rumors around Tumblr say that The Beatles’ “Got To Get You Into My Life” will be one of the songs performed in the premiere. Given the lyrics, we’d say its a pretty good match for a fun carnival atmosphere. After all, the song does start off with "I was alone, I took a ride, I didn't know what I would find there."

Glee‘s Season 5 premiere airs on September 26, and we’re already counting the days. Time to download some Beatles tunes and start getting ready!
