There were a slew of cliffhangers from the latter half of Glee Season 4 that left us waiting with bated breath for the start of Season 5. Now that new Glee episodes are just around the corner, we’re starting to learn what will happen to one particular character who had been left in limbo last season.

Poor Sue (Jane Lynch) had a rough go of things when we last saw her. She was fired after taking the blame for the school shooting, with Roz (NeNe Leakes) replacing her as Cheerios coach. Despite Becky (Lauren Jackson) and Blaine (Darren Criss) both trying to convince Sue to return to McKinley, she claims to enjoy her new life as a personal trainer. How anyone can resist a plea from Blaine, we’ll never know.

However, Jane Lynch now tells TV Guide that some changes will be afoot for Sue in Season 5. "She has a new position of power, and there's one scene where she makes everybody get a polio vaccine, even though the disease was eradicated decades ago,” Jane reveals. Better safe than sorry when it comes to old-timey ailments, right?

But does a “new position of power” mean Sue will become principal? Jane isn’t spelling it out for us quite yet. "Principal Figgins is still around, but we'll learn in what capacity," she adds. "And I have power over [new Cheerios coach] Roz Washington." So we’ll be getting more scenes of cheerleading experts Sue and Roz going head-to-head? Bring it on!
