Glee’s upcoming Season 5, Episode 3 tribute to Cory Monteith (Finn) is likely to be beautiful and moving. While we’re looking forward to seeing many of the show’s original cast members return for the episode, there is one Glee star who says she wasn’t even given the option to appear: Dianna Agron (Quinn).

Dianna tells the NY Post that she was not asked to participate in the tribute episode, despite the fact that Quinn and Finn have so much history and shared so many pivotal onscreen moments. When asked if it’s been a surprise that her role on the show has been so greatly diminished, Dianna replied, “Yeah.”

So is Dianna now ready to move on from Glee? “I think moving on might be the wrong choice of words because [Glee] is always going to be a part of me and with me, and I would always go back,” she says, pointing out that she’s still close with the Glee cast. “So it’s not necessarily about a departure. It’s about what it’s imparted in me and what it’s given me.”

Dianna calls Cory “truly one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my entire life,” and says she’s still coming terms with his shocking death. “It hasn’t completely hit in yet,” Dianna admits. “It’s one of the strangest things that has ever happened to me.”

“I don’t know how people do it over and over again throughout their lives,” she continues. “It just makes you take a new lease out on life and look at things a little bit differently.”

We wish Dianna all the best, and all we can say is that we hope Ryan Murphy will find a way to squeeze Quinn into a few Glee episodes this season. We need our Di fix!
