Glee star Jane Lynch (Sue) marriage to Lara Embry sadly ended after three years and now divorce proceedings appear to be getting a little messy. But does that mean Jane no longer believes in gay marriage? Quite the opposite, actually.

TMZ spotted Jane out and about with a male friend in L.A. this week and asked her if she thinks gay couples have been rushing into getting married since Prop. 8 was repealed in California. “Are you kidding?” Jane asks incredulously. “Of course not!”

And further proving that Jane can remain upbeat no matter what adversity she faces, she also says she isn’t bothered that Lara is reportedly asking for a whopping $93,809 a month in spousal support.

“I think it’s the law, isn’t it?” Jane replies when TMZ asks if Lara is in the right for requesting such a sum. “I think it’s the law, so I go with the law.” Okay, so that’s a very diplomatic answer. But Jane certainly could have squeezed in a jab at her ex if she wanted to, so the fact that she kept things civil is impressive.

So we’re glad that the divorce doesn’t seem to have dampened Jane’s romantic side. And we continue to wish both Jane and Lara not to mention Lara’s daughter from a previous relationship, Haden all the best moving forward.
