Get ready, Gleeks, because Glee is about to go Gaga once again! Over the years, the show has covered almost all of the pop diva’s biggest hits, and now Mama Monster herself has confirmed that the show will include at least one more Gaga song in Season 5.

Lady Gaga held a Twitter Q&A on September 20 and one fan asked if she was excited that Glee is going to cover her new song, “Applause.” Gaga replied, “yes I heard Adam Lambert is doing it I'm so excited! He's very talented and perfect for the song cause he's glammer.

Catch that? Glee is doing Lady Gaga’s “Applause,” and guest star Adam Lambert’s character — also known as Kurt‘s (Chris Colfernew rival —will be the one singing it.

So far, we have no official information about which episode this will all take place in, but Twitter and Glee fan sites are filled with rumors that it’s set for Season 5, Episode 4, the first episode back afterGlee’s Season 5, Episode 3 tribute to the late Cory Monteith (Finn). Since the show is going on a short break after the October 10 Cory tribute, it seems fair to assume that Episode 4 won’t air until November.

Rumor has it that the episode will be titled “A Katy or A Gaga,” and will feature exclusively songs by either Katy Perry or Lady Gaga. The two Katy songs rumored to be included so far are “Roar” and “Wide Awake,” while the Gaga songs are supposedly “Applause” and “Marry the Night.”

While it’s too early to tell if this information is correct, the “Applause” song selection seems pretty much locked down. What do you think of the choice? Head below to the comments and let us know.
