Not long after news broke that Glee’s Cory Monteith had passed away suddenly on July 13, the show quickly confirmed plans for a full episode of Glee dedicated to honoring both Cory and his beloved Glee character, Finn Hudson.

Glee Season 5, Episode 3: “The Quarterback” will air on Thursday, October 10, at 9 p.m. on FOX, and now the network has released its official summary of what the episode will be about: “The McKinley High family, present and past, join together to remember and celebrate the life of Finn Hudson.”

Short and sweet. Not many details yet. Luckily, by following the cast and crew on Twitter, we’ve been able to uncover a bit more about what to expect during the Cory tribute. We’ve compiled a full spoiler roundup of everything we know, but here are some of the highlights.

Though Finn will pass away during this episode, he will not die of an accidental drug overdose. Actor Cory Monteith and Finn were similar in many ways, but their causes of death will not be the same. Don’t expect any clear-cut answers as to how Finn will pass away, though. Creator Ryan Murphy has said that the show intentionally chose to keep Finn’s cause of death vague. If we find out, it will be during a later episode.
