Our minds and bodies are ready to watch Naya Rivera’s Santana Lopez and Demi Lovato’s Dani fall in love on Glee starting with Season 5 Episode 2. We know how they’ll meet — dressed in matching uniforms at the restaurant where they work — and that they’re both lesbians on the show. But is there any chance that their onscreen romance could turn into a real life showmance?

Well, no. Probably not.

Although we have major girl crushes on both actresses, we highly doubt they’ll be anything but TV girlfriends. Why? Because Naya Rivera is super happy with boyfriend Big Sean, and Demi is all set being single...ish.

Naya started dating her rapper boyfriend about six months ago, with the two making their first public couples appearance on April 9, 2013 at the premiere of 42.

Since then, they’ve posed for
sexy photos for professional clickers, talked about one another, and Big Sean was even featured on Naya’s single!

As for Demi, she’s most famously been linked to Wilmer Valderrama and One Direction’s Niall Horan.

In fact, Demi was spotted on Sunday, September 29 at Barneys in Beverly Hills, shopping with her That ‘70s Show on-again off-again boyfriend.

And that wasn't the first time they've been caught out on the town. Before that, she opted to go to Disneyland instead of the VMAs with him, and also shopped for furniture with him in June. Sounds like more than friends to us...

But despite her rumored romances, Demi stays pretty private about her personal life most of the time.

In a Teen Vogue interview in 2012, Demi explained that she’s been staying single on purpose. "I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself," she says, adding "Obviously, I'm still going to like people — or love them — but I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be OK with being alone, first."

So, the good news? Demi might be available to fall in love with one of her onscreen co-stars. The bad news? It probably won’t be Naya.
