When Finn (Cory Monteith) passed away in the time before this week’s Glee, Season 5, Episode 3: "The Quarterback,” the loss hit everyone hard. Not surprisingly, many of Finn’s classmates from his time at McKinley High came rushing back to Ohio to be together and mourn the loss of their friend.

To kick off the hourlong tribute, Glee began with a performance of “Seasons of Love” from the Broadway musical Rent and it features almost all of the New Direction grads.

The entire cast starts off singing together. “525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes: how do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes: how do you measure a year in the life?”

Next, Mercedes (Amber Riley), Santana (Naya Rivera), and Kurt (Chris Colfer) each get solos. Puck (Mark Salling) and Mike(Harry Shum Jr.) can be heard, as well. Rachel (Lea Michele) was noticeably missing, but that makes sense, seeing as how she wasn't in the episode until her song at the end.

Also visibly absent, however, is Quinn (Dianna Agron). She’s the only McKinley grad not back for the episode. Dianna has said that she wasn’t asked back for Glee’s Cory tribute, and now some are saying that it’s because both creator Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele just don’t like her. We have no way of knowing whether this is true or not. But one thing’s for sure, this song just doesn’t feel the same without Quinn.
