While we still have no idea why original Glee cast member Quinn (Dianna Agron) won’t be making an appearance on tomorrow’s Season 5, Episode 3 tribute to Cory Monteith, we can now rest assured that Dianna is still very-much loved by her former co-workers on the show.
Earlier this week, drama-filled reports posited that Dianna’s exclusion from the tribute episode was because members of the cast and crew can’t stand working with her. According to the report’s source, Lea Michele (Rachel) and show creator Ryan Murphy “intensely dislike Dianna and have both worked to marginalize her as much as possible.”
Thankfully (and just as we suspected), we now know that Dianna is as loved by the Glee crew as ever. How could she not be, after all?
“She is still very much a part of the Glee family and always welcome,” a source told E! News.
Another insider agreed that the rumors of cast and crew conflict with Dianna are “not true at all.”
We’re relieved to know our favorite cast members past and present aren’t feuding, but we’re still curious about the real reason Dianna was left out of the tribute episode. The actress had previously said she was surprised about never being approached for an appearance — which makes sense considering Quinn’s extensive history with Finn. Ryan, on the other hand, explained that he’d written in any actor who asked to be in the episode, perhaps hinting that Dianna never approached him for an appearance.
Are you surprised that Dianna wasn’t asked to be in the Cory Monteith tribute episode? Do you think she should be? Let us know in the comments below!
