Time to dig out those tissue boxes again. Today is Halloween, and instead of screaming in fear, you just might find yourself sobbing quietly at home on the couch. (But it a good way, we promise.)
Glee won’t be back with new episodes until November 7, but that doesn’t mean Fox won’t still be a few airing repeat episodes. Though Major League Baseball is pre-empting Glee for the next few weeks, there’s no game on Halloween and Fox has announced that it will be re-airing Glee’s Season 5, Episode 3: “The Quarterback” tonight, instead.
So if you’re not out celebrating at a Halloween party of some sorts — or, you know, trick-or-treating, for those of us who can still pass as sixth graders and/or have a younger sibling to “chaperone” — you now totally have the option to spend your night indoors re-watching the Cory tribute. And bawling your eyes out.
Only this time, instead of stuffing your face with chocolate ice cream, there should be plenty of king-sized Halloween candy bars nearby to help console your grief.
“The Quarterback” will air on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 9 p.m. on Fox. The week after, Glee will return from its month-long hiatus with an all new Season 5, Episode 4: "A Katy or a Gaga,” featuring only songs by Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Plus, Demi Lovato (Dani) will be back, and new guest star Adam Lambert will make his Glee debut.
Will you watch Glee on Halloween, or is the Cory tribute just too emotional for you to want to see more than once?
